If it comes to cats, this country is both heaven and hell. There are countless cats that keep on teasing me. I am not a big cat lover, and my instincts urge me to chase these little creatures. When we visited the castle of Pula, one cat was extremely irritating me. I had to run after her so hard that my mom (who is otherwise a strong woman) could not hold me any longer on the leash – I am sorry to say that I hurt my mom (two squeezed fingers, one of them bleeding like hell), but I scared the cat to death – hehehe!
We are currently at the island of Pag (you can see a picture of “ Captain Geeny” on the ferry!), at a very remote campsite far away from any civilization and infrastructure. Apparently, it is paradise for even more cats, and also for me. But this was enough for my mom. True to the motto of my dog trainer Harlie “Train, don’t complain”, she has decided to teach me how to deal with cats?! What shall I say: to calm her down, I behaved well a couple of times, but if they are too cheeky, I will still scare them away! Luckily, I do not see a lot of them on our hikes and beach stops, so I can still enjoy jumping into the water and playing with my ball.
PS: since my mom loves old stones, she also attached a couple of pictures from the Roman remains in Pula – it has nothing to do with cats, of course, but the pictures are nice!

Geeny, thank you for your keen insights and descriptions. Your mom takes excellent photos!
